I have been practicing yoga for 7 years now and completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Bali in August 2017.
Initially, for me, yoga was about the physical practice. It pushed me to discover and build strength and flexibility in areas I’d never experienced before.
Over time and through my regular practice, yoga has helped me connect to myself on a much deeper level and find peace in the midst of a busy life.
I’ve recently returned to work as a psychologist after a career break to travel and explore faraway lands. I love the links between psychology and yoga and I’m passionate about sharing this with others to promote positive wellbeing. I have a strong interest in alternative approaches and am currently working towards my Reiki Level 2 qualification and a hypnotherapy certification.
In my yoga classes you’ll find breath development, careful sequencing, safe movement, and a relaxed and welcoming space to develop your practice. As my student I hope you leave feeling calmer, stronger and more empowered to face the highs and lows of everyday life. I’m so excited to be part of the teaching team at the Chakra Hut and I hope to see you on the mat soon!
